A collaboration between Chile’s Sanfic Industria (Santiago International Film Festival) and Mexico’s Grupo Mórbido, this initiative strengthens Latin America’s genre film industry. Since 2021, Mórbido has supported six annual horror projects at Sanfic, providing pitch training, production guidance, and incentives to boost their development and production.
Fantastic Lab Costa Rica
Launched in June 2025 through a partnership between the Fantastic Pavilion and Costa Rica Media Market (CRMM), this lab boosts genre filmmaking in Central America and the Caribbean. Six selected projects will receive hands-on training and professional mentorship, supported by Atómica Films, with one proof of concept produced annually as part of the program.
